When preparing to make edibles you must first remember to ALWAYS Decarb your flower or concentrate in order to activate all of the THC and/or CBD to ensure you receive the highest potency possible from your material. Decarboxylation can be done in your oven at home or by using the Ardent Decarboxylator.  If you choose
to decarb flower in your oven, there are 4 key points to.

1.  Set your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit and be sure that one of the racks are towards the middle of the oven. You should prevent using the top shelf.
2. Place a piece of parchment paper (NOT WAX PAPER) on a baking sheet.
3.  Place your flower on the parchment paper. It is best to break your flower up into small nuggets. The size of a bean should be good. Do NOT grind your material as it could burn it.
4. Place baking sheet in the oven for 45 minutes. After removing from the oven, let it cool for 5-10 minutes. It is ready to be used to infuse.

If you are working with any type of cannabis concentrate (wax, shatter, badder, budder, crumble, rosin) you will also need to follow a few steps to decarboxylate properly.

1.   Set your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit and be sure that one of the racks are towards the middle of the oven. You want to prevent using the top shelf.
2. Place a piece of parchment paper (NOT WAX PAPER) on a baking sheet.
3. Place your concentrate on the parchment paper. Be sure that there is enough excess paper and/or that the paper edges are folded to prevent runoff.
4. Place baking sheet in the oven for 30-45 minutes. You will need to keep your eye on this process as some material finishes the process sooner than others. You will notice as time goes on the concentrate will start to have little bubbles appear in the concentrate. Once the little bubbles become larger and start to expand the process is complete. It is ready to be used to infuse immediately.
